We've taken significant steps to "green up" the student travel experience!
Carbon Offsets
Last year we agreed to offset the carbon footprint of our motor coach trips by helping fund a tree-planting intiative in British Columbia. The trees planted would absorb and contain the same amount of carbon emitted by the motor coaches, thereby making that part of our trips carbon neutral. None of our competitors include that as part of their program.
On the Road
This year, we will be incorporating an environmental awareness message into our trips. Our tour leaders are specially trained, and our passengers will learn the importance of their actions while travelling and be encouraged to make choices that reduce their impact on the environment both during and after their trip. By setting a good example and encouraging responsible behaviour we are raising the environmental awareness of thousands of students each year.
